What We Collect

When you use AIsubtext, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, company name, and website URL. We also collect scan results and AI engine responses generated during audits.

How We Use It

We use your information to run AI Recommendation Audits, generate reports, deliver our service, and communicate with you about your account. We do not sell your data to third parties.

AI Attribution Tracking

For paid clients, we deploy a first-party script (aisubtext.js) and remediation pages on the client's own domain. When a visitor loads one of these pages, the script records limited technical information, including the referring URL, user agent, and coarse behavioral signals, and it identifies known AI crawlers such as GPTBot, ClaudeBot, and PerplexityBot. We use this only to attribute AI-driven traffic to the pages we deploy and to report results to that client. It is first-party to the client's site, is not used for cross-site advertising, and is never shared with other clients.

Data Separation

Client data is strictly separated. We never share one client's strategy, scan results, or competitive intelligence with another client. Each account operates behind a strict data wall.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for core site functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies and we do not sell your data to advertisers. The AI attribution tracker described above uses first-party identifiers only.

Third-Party Services

We rely on third-party service providers to operate AIsubtext, each of which handles data under its own privacy policy. They fall into a few categories: payment processing (currently Stripe), hosting and content delivery (currently Vercel and Cloudflare), backend infrastructure (currently Railway), off-site storage and backups (currently Amazon Web Services), and the AI providers whose engines we query on your behalf (currently including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity, and Mistral). The providers named here are current examples and may change over time as we add, remove, or replace services. In particular, we may query additional AI engines as they become relevant, and this policy may not list every provider at all times.

Data Retention

We retain your scan data and reports for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us.
